I build interfaces —
and the systems
behind them.

I'm MD Ashraful Islam Rahat, a full-stack web developer. I design the screen someone taps and write the API and database underneath it — so the two actually agree with each other.

GET /about · 200 OK

Every project has a front end someone judges in three seconds — and a back end that has to hold up long after.

I started out fixing bugs and optimizing queries, which is a fast way to learn respect for the unglamorous half of the web: databases, queries, APIs, the parts nobody screenshots. That's still where I spend a lot of my time.

Today I move comfortably between React and Vue on the front end, Bootstrap and jQuery when a project needs something leaner, and WordPress, MySQL and REST APIs on the back end. I'm not precious about the stack — I pick what actually fits the brief, budget and timeline.

What I care about is the same on every job: a site that loads fast, reads clearly on a small screen, and doesn't fall over the day it gets popular.
